Congratulate yourself for getting through September, dear Pisces. Last month was, by anyone’s estimation who knows astrology, the most difficult of the year. First, Saturn conjoined the Sun on September 3, a depressing aspect that caused all to see harsh realities, but especially Pisces.
The opposition of Uranus and the Sun occurred on Friday, September 12. On Monday, September 15, the full moon appeared in Pisces with Uranus, planet of completely unexpected happenings, and formed a tight opposition to that full moon and to Saturn too, in wide opposition. Sudden news came up, and with Saturn there, it would be impossible to avoid facing up to very hard consequences and realities.
On the heels of all this, Mercury began to retrograde last month on September 23, so as much as you wanted to institute remedies, there were reasons you could not do so quickly. There were obvious reasons to hold back and stop, look, and listen before you announced firm decisions. That left many in limbo, waiting for the moment the smoke would clear.
Pisces born on March 15 plus or minus five days were in the eye of last month’s storm, as were those who had Pisces rising from 15-29 degrees, but if you had other planets in the path of this set of astrological aspects, you felt tension, too.

If you are one of the lucky Pisces who didn’t notice much happening, you may have a February birthday, or have mitigating influences in your chart that made you sail through this period easily.
No matter when your birthday happens be, you are in October and probably feeling a bit of relief. Mercury will still be retrograde until October 15, but by that date Mercury will still be scrambling his signals, keeping you in an environment of smoke and mirrors. Sign no contacts or make any verbal agreements or decisions until October 20. If you can wait until the day after the new moon, October 29, so much the better.
You will notice immediately that you have a strong financial emphasis in the beginning of October. Among other planets, Mercury will retrograde in your eighth house of other people’s money, and that alone could cause checks due you to be late. Keep sending reminder statements to those who owe you, but I feel you will not shake free your check(s) until after October 15.
If you have to loan money, pull money from one portfolio to another, or discuss funding with investors for venture capital, you should be pleased with the response you generate, either now or down the line, in a few weeks or months. If you are in the process of getting a divorce, the division of property will be on the agenda or discussions about child support. The new moon that fell on September 29 last month will still be strong as you begin October, so you can make quite a bit of progress in these matters. Your answer will come after Mercury goes direct, October 15 or beyond, or may take longer, but I feel you’ll like the result. Paperwork may have errors, so be vigilant and double check everything.
Another big trend that is showing up this month for you is a big and beneficial emphasis on international markets and foreign people and cities, including a possibility for distant travel, within or outside your country. With Mars moving through Scorpio, this area will be very fortunate for you from October 4 thorough November 15.
You will see the truth of this on certain days in October that I will list for you now. As you think about these dates, keep in mind that they will not only be excellent dates to choose for international travel or for deals that you do over the phone with people based afar, but will also be fortunate for publishing and broadcasting ventures and in matters related to academia. If you are in college or grad school, plan to take a major test, or have meetings with college officials planned, the following dates will also be the right ones for you.
October 5, a Sunday, will be one date that is right for all these activities, when Venus and Jupiter will exchange beams, but you may feel the benefits of this aspect as soon as Friday, October 3, and as late as Monday, October 6.
Next, for travel, global relationships, publishing, broadcasting, and college-related discussion will be October 9 and 10, sensational dates when Venus and Uranus in Pisces will be perfectly angled. The moon will be in Pisces on Friday too, making this day even better.
The full moon October 14 will switch your attention back to finances, this time your personal financial obligations, purchases, and income. You may get money, but you’ll have to pay money out, too. Still, I love this full moon for you because Neptune, your ruler, will be so sensationally oriented with it and the Sun. Pluto, a financial planet based in your house of career success, will also be very supportive. Most Pisces work in creative fields, and if that describes you, you may sell an artistic project at this full moon and earn a good profit. Your reputation may precede you, and that may help you make the sale.
Financially, a week later, October 21, things will continue to go in your favor. The Sun and Pluto will be in perfect sync, suggesting that you certainly have the attention and support of higher ups.
As you get to the last third of the month, you will see a diminishing emphasis on money and an increasing emphasis on your foreign and distant interests. Watch for your most spectacular day, October 31, when all news will be surprisingly strong.
Romance this month appears to be linked to travel, at least during the first part of October, so if you can take a vacation with your sweetheart or spouse, do so!
Circle your dazzling weekend for love, October 4-5, when Venus, in fellow water sign Scorpio, and Jupiter, in compatible earth sign Capricorn, will waltz across a midnight blue sky strewn with stars as bright as diamonds. This should be a heavenly weekend for you!
If you are single and hoping to meet someone new, be sure to be open to greeting others on Thursday, October 9 or Friday, October 10. With Venus receiving light from Uranus then, you could easily have a highly electric surprise meeting, and when you do, you’ll feel the introduction was so fantastic that you’ll swear you heard thunder, lightning, and bells in the distance!
Things will keep getting better. One of your best evenings to enjoy love will be Monday, October 27, and you may also feel the benefits as early as Saturday, October 25, allowing you to enjoy a really fun weekend. You may travel on this weekend, too. See what develops.
Another glittering night out will be Friday, October 31 – you’re sure to create an outfit that is a true showstopper! Mars in Scorpio will send a wonderful beam to Uranus in Pisces, ensuring that the electricity in the air will positively crackle with excitement. You will generate truly original ideas, and as a Pisces, you are poised to be in the center of this whirlwind of imagination! This is a night you’ll want to be out and about, dear Pisces. It’s a “must-see” for you, so get that costume ready, beginning now!
As you get closer to the year-end holidays, especially as you approach the last week of December and move into the first half of January, you will reach a magnificent social time. As you see, the best is yet to come!

Summary
You seem to be traveling in October, or at the very least, on the phone and email quite a bit with people abroad or based at a distance within your own country. Mars will begin to heat up your interactions with foreign people and places from October 4 on, and will also increase your interaction with executives who work in the media and academia. All this seems to be work-related, and if so, there’s clearly profit to be made, so return those calls and investigate all offers!
Mercury, however, will now be based in your eighth house of other people’s money, and will continue to retrograde, a trend that has been in place since September 24. Mercury is not due to turn direct until October 15 and will continue to create confusion until October 20.
During most of this month, you may find important checks run late or are missing. You’d be wise to stay on top of all accounts receivables. At the same time, this would not be a good time to make final financial deals, even with those you know. Feel free to conduct talks, though, but don’t sign papers until on or after October 20.
Whatever is going on for you at a distance, or in regard to publishing, broadcasting, or academia, will reach a new and more evolved chapter once the new moon arrives on October 28. The two weeks that follow that new moon will herald an extraordinarily positive time to move assertively forward on current projects. Despite any problems or disappointments you may have encountered over the past few weeks, you will see impressive progress in this area from then on.
Your creative efforts will be lauded, too, and you may get publicity for your work. There’s a strong chance you’ll be given an opportunity to interact with foreign people or open one or more foreign markets, too. Indeed, import – export of information or goods and services will glitter brightly for you.
You will also be very focused on finances, not only money you earn, but also money you receive from insurance companies, banks, venture capitalists, and others, and money you would pay out to credit card companies and as taxes, as two examples This is actually a fine time for the drawing up savvy year-end tax strategies.
If you anticipate that you may be buying quite a number of gifts for friends and family at holiday time, you may want to put aside money in October for that purpose. With Mercury retrograde most of the month, it would not be a time to actually buy those gifts yet (not until on or after October 20), so starting a stash seems to be the best way to go.
The full moon on October 14 will bring one matter regarding personal finances to culmination or fruition. You may send out a big check or receive one! (Let’s hope it’s the latter!) If you are in a creative field, you may now be paid a tidy sum for an idea, product, or service you have developed and now sell. The money you see at this time will be money earned, not money you borrow from a bank.
If you need money for any purpose – whether to buy a house, go back to college, or start / expand a business – it appears to be there for you. Make calls, set up meetings, fill out applications, and if applicable, draw up a new or revised business plan.
Venus will enter your career angle of your chart on October 18, ensuring that your popularity with VIPs will stay very strong until mid-November.
